IDEAL ELECTRIC COMPANY, a 122-year-old, independent American manufacturer of high-power, specialty electric motors, generators, power systems and controls seeks a Parts Administrator who is a highly organized self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-discipline team environment with the ability to manage competing priorities to achieve company goals while upholding a culture of ethics, integrity, and excellence in everything we do. This first shift salaried position is based in our Mansfield, Ohio facility, reports to the Inside Sales Manager, and plays a key role throughout our product lifecycle. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as customer advocate, providing a positive customer experience
  • Receive customer inquiries for purchased and manufactured parts; assist customer in identifying parts needed
  • Prepare quotes and provide to customers/potential customers
  • Create orders in ERP/CRM programs
  • Issue purchase orders as needed and as requested by management team
  • Prepare orders, including packaging, and required documents/labeling for domestic or international shipping
  • Record and update activities in ERP/CRM databases as required
  • Provide drawings, parts, reports, manuals in support of Field Service operations
  • Perform administrative duties associated with the requirements of the department
  • Foster and maintain respectful business relationships with customers and vendors

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or certified equivalent
  • Three + years’ experience in a customer service role
  • Experience working with customers and vendors in a B2B environment
  • Knowledge and experience reading drawings and schematics is helpful
  • Technical literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite, project management, and ERP systems
  • Teamwork approach with excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time-management skills

WORKING CONDITIONS AND WORK HOURS

  • Daily minimum of 8 hours. Weekly 40 hour minimum.
  • This position generally operates in a professional office environment.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as phones, computers, copiers/printers.
